Account Executive (Business Development)

The Account Executive plays a critical role in developing relationships with new and existing clients to assist with their recruitment strategy, for both project or temporary opportunities and/or to identify talent to fill direct hire roles in the client organizations. Below are essential duties and responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibilities will include the identification of and building relationships with finance & accounting and human resources hiring managers within the Pittsburgh and surrounding markets.
- Scheduling and execution of client meetings.
- Consult with clients on current market trends and various talent support options.
- Continued education on market conditions, emerging trends within niche service verticals and daily events that have an impact on the supply and demand for talent within our customer/ candidate base.
- Activities include but are not limited to: sourcing, cold calling, qualifying prospective clients, marketing candidates.
- Attend relevant networking events and promoting brand recognition for PRSG within service verticals.
- Development and marketing of external job postings via major job boards, social websites (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, etc).
- Proper documentation within proprietary technology to ensure efficient delivery strategies are met.
- Maintain a professional online presence that represents PRSG®’s brand appropriately in the marketplace.
- Promote PRSG®’s services through participation in professional associations, recruitment events, and other external networking opportunities.
- Develop and execute daily planned activities.
- Participate in periodic training to enhance representation of clients in HR management decisions.
Education and/or experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Accounting/Finance/Human Resources or a related field is required
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, HR, IT, or sales function
- CPA is helpful but not necessary
- PHRA certification is helpful but not necessary
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
- Tech-savvy – ability to effectively navigate multiple systems
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
